Mountain gorillas live in the wild in only three countries: Uganda, Rwanda and DR Congo. Treks start with a morning briefing from park rangers, then small groups of up to eight people head into the forest to find their assigned gorilla family.
Uganda’s Bwindi and Mgahinga and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park offer some of the best gorilla trekking in Africa, with very high success rates.
